Mayon Volcano, also known as Mount Mayon, is an active stratovolcano in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region, on the island of Luzon, in the Philippines. Mayon rises 2,462 meters above sea level and is a most beautiful site. Renowned as the "Perfect Cone" because of its almost perfectly conical shape. One of the world's most perfect volcanic cones, it has a base 80 mi (130 km) in circumference and rises to 8,077 ft (2,462 m). It is popular with climbers and campers and is the centre of Mayon Volcano National Park

It must be one of the most beautiful volcanic cones anywhere in the world and is visible for miles around in the otherwise flat landscape of the region. it also is considered one of the world's most perfect cones.

Some of these superb hills reach the height up to 400-feet. Estimated of more than 1,500 grass covering the limestone hills but turns to brown-color like chocolate during summer season which is where old folks name after it.

The now famous Viaduct snakes around the coast at the foot of the North Cordillera Mountain Range. This concrete winding viaduct is 1.2 km in length and is also known as the Viaduct, and as it has a cousin in France its also known as the French Riviera of the Northern Philippines. As you traverse the bridge you pass the Mabugabog Falls that is the water power for the mini hydroelectric plant. When its been very wet and raining the falls are spectacular to watch.

St. Augustine Church, or more popularly called Paoay Church, in Ilocos Norte is one of the the oldest churches in the Philippines and is among the major attractions of the province. The Paoay Church in particular is famous for its distinctive Gothic, Baroque and Oriental architecture. Its facade reveals Gothic affinity, its gables show Chinese elements, while the niches topping the walls suggest Javanese influence (reminiscent of the famous Boroboudur Temple).

Lechón, is the Spanish word for suckling pig and Inasal, in Cebuano, which connotes a whole roasted pig.  The preparation of the traditional inasal requires tons of lemongrass “tanglad” stuffed into the pig with salt, pepper corn, green onions basted with secret marinated juices, skewed on a green bamboo pole and slowly roasted over an open pit of charcoal.
